What do I need?
An iPhone with iOS 16 or later and a compatible Oura ring. Gen3 and newer require an active Oura Membership for API access. This membership is separate from the app.
Does it work with Gen2?
Gen2 does not require an Oura Membership, but access to the battery data needed by this app has not yet been verified on Gen2.
Is the beta free?
Yes. The TestFlight beta has no Ring Battery Monitor subscription, payment or timed trial. Beta participation does not create a future payment obligation.
Can I try it without connecting Oura?
The app includes a clearly labelled demo with sample readings and example battery observations. You can explore it without an Oura account.
What if I get a new ring?
Record the change in Settings → Rings & changes. Each physical ring has its own profile and confirmed usage dates, including warranty replacements of the same model.
